First Visit
What to expect?
Our Sunday worship service begins with praise and prayer, followed by a brief introductory message. Then, there are contributions such as group songs and poems before the main message, which typically lasts about 40 minutes. The entire worship service lasts approximately one and a half hours.
On Fridays, we have our Bible and prayer session. We start with a collective study of the Word. Afterward, we sing a hymn. Following the hymn, we share our prayer requests with one another and pray together. This gathering also lasts about one and a half hours.
If you are visiting us for the first time, we won't put you in an uncomfortable situation. Don't worry, you don't have to stand up or introduce yourself. There is also no obligation to make a donation. If you prefer, you can attend our worship service completely anonymously and blend in with the congregation.
Our worship services and other events typically take place in High German. However, it's not uncommon for an occasional song or poem to be presented in English or Russian. If someone understands only English or Russian, we provide translations. Please feel free to contact the technical team before the worship service for assistance.
For us, the house of worship is a sacred place. That's why we place great importance on our clothing being neat and appropriate. For example, men do not wear shorts, and women wear skirts that are at least knee-length. We do this out of reverence and love for God, to make a distinction. We select clothing that is not everyday or work attire but rather elegant and suitable for the worship service.
